Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School

March 9, 2024

Dear Saints Peter and Paul School families,

As we continue our academic school year, the planning process has already begun for the 2024-2025 School year.  As we continue to provide Academic Excellence within our school building, we must also make adjustments to current operational practices.  I am excited to share with everyone that S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic School has begun our Pre-Accreditation process and that our Pre-Accreditation application will be mailed out around March 20th, 2024. This Pre-Accreditation process will be a wonderful opportunity for our school to promote Academic Excellence that is our strength: which focuses on an individual's strengths, has faith and values-based to the program, initiates goal setting, uses environmental resources, strengths assessments, Diocesan & State-Based methods, development in a holistic educational program, advocates hope inducing relationships, autonomy to make meaningful choices, and the empowerment of student learning that are within our building. With this initial process, we also will have some additional changes that we will be making as we move forward to the 2024-25 school year.

Over the past four months, I have been doing some intensive and structured research to locate a School Information System that can replace our current Sycamore system.  While researching I had the pleasure of talking with many companies about what makes their system better and also to see what system matches what I am currently looking for.

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School was in search for these abilities to:

After many months and numerous meetings, we will be switching our School Information System(SIS) to FACTS for the upcoming school year.  This is an exciting change for our school, and I look forward to making this change to benefit all of our school families.  FACTS will begin to start working on pulling our school families and students' information into our new system starting in April.  This will give them time to help us make an easy transition at the end of our Fiscal Year on June 30th. Our new FACTS System will be going live on July 1st, for school use.

Please save the date for a Parent Informational Meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, at  6:00 pm, in the S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic School Library, as our FACTS representative will be joining us in sharing more information about the new system and to answer questions about the switchover for our school families.  We will also be talking about Online Payments and setting up Tuition Payment Schedules for the upcoming school year.

FACTS can help our school, our administrator, our teachers, and families through their services and technology by solving the unique challenges in our school operations. Their system management program offers assistance with the following:

Thank you for all that you do for our students and school!

Sincerely,

News/Announcements:

March 21st, 2024

A huge thanks goes out to our Education Celebration Committee members, School families, volunteers, parishioners, and Father George for helping us celebrate a wonderful event for our school.  Your overwhelming support for Catholic Education is heartwarming and a true blessing to our school staff and students.  We would not be able to do the work that we do within our school without all of your continued support.  Numbers are still coming in, but the preliminary numbers show that we had a wonderful event, and together we raised over $40 thousand to support Saints Peter and Paul School.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may God continue to bless you.

Mrs. Amanda Gierok
