Welcome to Mrs. Schmeling's classroom webpage!
My name is Kelli Schmeling and this will be my 15th year teaching middle school science. The 2018-2019 school year is my seventh year in Stewartville and I am proud to be a member of the SMS team. I grew up in Pequot Lakes, MN which had a large influence on my curiosity and interest in the outdoors and the world around me. I graduated from Bemidji State University in 2004 with an undergraduate degree in Aquatic Biology and Science Education. I completed my Masters degree in Education through the University of Minnesota in 2012. When I'm not busy scheming of new and inventive ways to teach science to those around me, I can usually be found fishing, running/walking, teaching our young dog new tricks (ha!) and spending time with my wonderful family.
