Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!
I am currently in my 28th year of teaching. I have spent my entire teaching career in the Stewartville School District, working mostly in the middle school and high school. I graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in Speech Communication, and later with a degree in Special Education. My wife, Teri, and I are originally from Wadena, Minnesota, and we have 2 sons, Aaron and Andrew.
My current teaching assignment is relatively new to me. After working primarily with E/BD students in the middle school for many years, I now am serving a number of different students in both the middle and high school. I am looking forward to this new challenge.

Syllabus or Classroom Expectations
My classroom expectations are fairly simple. I expect students to come to my room prepared, I expect them to be respectful of all others, and I expect them to finish what they start. I feel that my job is to help prepare each student for their future, whether that be the immediate future, or something that is off in the distance. Either way, meeting my expectations will help them be more successful as they work toward their future.
