The students at E.T. Richardson Middle School are hard at work organizing the eighth annual Brunner Bash. The event will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 3-9 PM. This Brunner Bash is held each year to honor the memory of Mr. Glen Brunner, a long-time teacher at Sabold Elementary School. Mr. Brunner passed away on May 5, 2010 after a year long battle with cancer. The money raised by the Brunner Bash will benefit The Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Springfield Area Educational Foundation (SAEF) to assist affected families in the Springfield/Morton community, and the Glenn Brunner Scholarship Fund. This is the eighth year E.T. Richardson has held this event and last year the students raised over $46,000 with over 600 students participating.

The Brunner Bash is a great opportunity for students to help others and to get involved at ETR. During the event, there will be a variety of student activities including, but not limited to, a game truck, moon bounces, games, black-light dancing, and food. For those given parental permission, we will also have dodgeball.
