CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS (virtually)
Although we were unable to complete the year and hold our fabulous student exhibition, Celebration of the Arts, we wanted to share student work with you. Special thanks to Mr. J for turning our photos into videos!!!
While not all student work was complete or available to be photographed, we tried to represent as many students as possible.

VIRTUAL LEARNING - MARCH 30 - JUNE 5
I hope your family has had time to grow closer and that you are all supporting each other. I truly miss the energy and excitement in the studio and in the hallways of our school. My day is usually filled with helping students go through the learning process; struggling with new skills, practicing - growing those skills with critical feedback - and folding those skills into their beautiful artwork. It is what I enjoy and miss most.
As you know, on Monday, March 30th, our virtual learning will begin and continue through June 5. I will be posting work on Google Classroom every Monday morning. Please make sure you have access to Classroom. https://classroom.google.com/
- Periods 1 & 4 - Drawing and Design - Class code: alza2by
- Periods 2 & 6 - Painting and Drawing - Class code: pg2fwbb
- Period 5 - Honors Art - Class code: shrvzyd
- Period 5 - AP Studio Art - Class code: eohh7sw
I know some of you may be limited with the art materials you have at home. All assignments will be drawings created on paper with pencil or pen. If you have art supplies at home, you may use them instead of pencil or pen. (colored pencils/pens, markers, watercolor, acrylic paint, tempera paint, etc…) You can use drawing paper, sketchbooks, copy paper, or loose leaf paper that is approximately 8 ½” X 11”. Do the best with what you have available.
I will be available through email, so if you have any questions about the assignment, please let me know. I’m looking forward to seeing your drawings. I hope to see you all very soon!
