A place for support, resources, and connection.
I am so excited to be returning as the School Counselor at S&S Middle School. Having grown up in this area, it feels great to be back and serving such a wonderful community. I live in Callisburg with my husband and our two children. I am a graduate of Whitesboro High School and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas as well as a Master of Education degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Being able to share my passion for education and support students during these important middle school years is truly a privilege.
At S&S Middle School, the counseling program is designed to support students academically, socially, and emotionally, while also preparing them for future career paths. Services include classroom lessons, individual and group counseling, and collaboration with parents and staff. Key areas of focus are academic planning, study and organizational skills, career awareness and exploration, social-emotional learning (such as communication and conflict resolution), crisis intervention, and overall system-level support for the school community. My goal is to ensure that every student feels supported, encouraged, and prepared to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
