Physical Education Tidbits

Welcome to the Quail Run Physical Education Website - a family resource with tidbits for movement activities & healthy living concepts.

QUAIL RUN COMMUNITY

Hello Explorer Families,
As we continue to stay close to home, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time. Our Quail Run PE web page references some fun movement activities with health overtones. There are several tabs on the top of the page that you can explore and do to get some wiggles out. The recommended exercise time is 20 - 30 minutes daily.

There will be NO Physical Education grade recorded this semester.

I cannot emphasize how important it is for you to participate in your families' daily routine. Your routine should include your academic work, movement breaks, reading, and free time to chill. You got the idea! For many years to come COVID 19 will be a topic of conversation. It might be fun to keep a journal with pictures and words. Where did you quarantine? Who were you with? What was your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? I learned how to...?

If you can: communicate with your friends, be respectful to your parents and siblings, send your grandparents a picture or caring note and honor our first responders and essential workers.

Our Grade level Competition continues! We would be doing our Spring Quail Trot with each grade level competing for the honor of being the fastest QUAILS! As a grade level we are going to travel from San Ramon to a variety of United States capitals with every 10 minutes of fitness time that tou do equaling one mile of distance travel. Under the tab Weekly Fitness Challenge (1) find your grade, (2) record your MINUTES data on Friday and submit the form, (3 ) on Monday look for winning grade and the next distance challenge.

Stay ACTIVE and looking forward to seeing everyone via pictures! (check tab) I have also been popping in on your google classroom times.

Let me know how you are doing or answer any question via my school email and I will get back to you ASAP.

Best regards,

Ms. Reuveni :-)
