The San Ramon School District is a 1:1 school district. Each student will be expected to bring their district-issued Chromebook to school everyday. Although much of our work together will still involve speaking and listening to each other, we will work on activities provided on the computer either as individual work or as group projects.
If you have trouble with your computer or connection, you may be able to participate in class from your phone until you can get your computer fixed. You must make every effort not to let technical difficulties prevent you from participating fully in class.
For that purpose I recommend bringing an extra charger that you will keep in your locker. Charge your computer as soon as you get home and place both computer and charger in your backpack before going to bed. Teachers will have spare chargers in their rooms, ask to charge your computer at every chance you get, especially in classes where you will not be using the Chromebook for work.
If you need help with a computer problem, the School District can help you. Contact the Information Technology Department using this link https://parentithelp.srvusd.net/support/home
Additional technology information (how to log on the Wi-fi on campus, how to change your student password, how to access the online library, etc.) is listed in the presentation to the left.

Digital ressources provide me with powerful and effective online teaching tools I still rely on in the physical classroom to create engaging instruction material and teaching strategies accessible to ALL students.
