This is my third year here at Santa Rosa and my 6th year teaching Language Arts. Reading and writing are passions of mine and I cannot wait to spread my love of learning to YOU! I completed my undergrad studies at Cal Poly Pomona and received my teaching credential through Cal State San Marcos. I live in Temecula with my husband, my two children, Claire and Grant, and our dogs, Oona and Yuffie. This will be a different and challenging year with distance learning, however, I KNOW we can do this together!
Come on Time: Get to class promptly! Be in your seat when the bell rings, ready to learn!
Be Prepared: Laptops should be charged, materials should be ready to go, homework completed, game face on!
Be Respectful: I respect you, you respect me, we respect each other! We are all responsible for creating a respectful and safe environment through our actions and words. (Remember...you should show the same amount of respect to the janitor as you do the CEO.)
Stay Focused: We will do HARD work this year, but I KNOW you can do it! Dig deep, develop your grit, because your education is so important. You are so worth it!
Every student is invited to attend tutoring sessions, however, if you have a 70% or below in my class you are required to attend tutoring sessions to provide extra support in order to help pull up your grade.
