SPMS is blessed to have a state-of-the-art broadcast studio equipt with three HD cameras, green screen, teleprompters, Tri-Caster, and 15 editing bays with Adobe Premier Pro. Through this course, students have the opportunity to learn how to use all of the above equipment. In addition through team projects, Broadcast Journalism introduces students to the basics of Broadcast Journalism. Content includes writing, reporting, producing, and anchoring news stories. An emphasis will be placed on hands on production of a student created newscast.
