Welcome to SPS Connect!
Suffolk Public Schools' initiative of providing each student with one-to-one access to instructional technology during the school day became a reality in the 2018-2019 school year. The one-to-one initiative provided students with increased access to research, up-to-date instructional resources, creative learning outlets, real-time digital collaboration with peers and teachers, and promoted technological skills. Students benefited as a result of this initiative during their time in the classroom. However, the question remained, how can all of our students have this same opportunity when they are outside of school?
Suffolk Public Schools is excited to announce that beginning February 1, 2020, students in grades 6-12 will be issued a Chromebook by the school division for use at home and school. We believe that SPS Connect is the missing piece to providing equitable access to instructional technology anytime and anywhere. Due to the 2020-2021 Virtual Learning initiative, Suffolk Public Schools expanded SPS Connect to all students PK through 12 in the fall of 2020.
Welcome to SPS Connect, where students stay connected to instruction, learning, and technology.
