Mr. Levesque's Music Classroom
About Me
Mr. Levesque has been a Music Educator since 2017. He hails from Central Maine, and graduated with is B.A. in Music Education focusing in both instrumental and choral music from the University of Maine, Orono. He participated in groups such as Marching Band, and was the assistant conductor for University Singers. Since then, he has taught in Gorham and Old Orchard Beach where he coached competitive Jazz Choir for two years and placed 3rd/2nd in the state respectively. In his free time, Mr. Levesque is a fitness coach for adults teaching Zumba® and Zumba® Toning
Mr. Levesque believes that Music Education should lead students to be globally aware, be tuneful/beatful/artful musicians, explore new and exciting music, connecting music to their everyday experiences, and to have FUN!
Mr. Levesque began teaching in South Portland School Department in 2019. He is very proud to call himself both a Brown Bear and a Dyer Dragon!
