About me

Hello students and families! My name is Amanda Brown and I'm thrilled to be your health teacher. This is my third year teaching at Mahoney. Before I moved to Maine with my family four years ago, I worked at a non-profit health consulting agency, based in New York City.

When I'm not teaching I like to practice yoga, listen to podcasts, ride my bike, play on my paddle board, read historical fiction, connect with friends and family, and go on outdoor adventures.
