Educators in Maine with a current, valid CHRC or teaching certificate can pull their certificate using the instructions below and contact central office at 207-871-0555 to ask where you can send it. This will stand in place of the background check that is required annually for volunteering in our schools.
Current educators in a Maine school district are not required to attend a volunteer training session. If you currently employed at a school district in Maine, please include that information in your email.

3. If you do not have an account; select that option to continue. If you do have an account, please login to find your credentials from there.
4. Fill out the requested information and then hit submit.
5. Take a screenshot or snip of your current CHRC or teacher certificate, ensuring that it shows both your name and the dates of validity and email it to Assistant Superintendent Dr. Prince.
Using these instructions, your screenshot should look like the image below and both name and validity dates are shown. If you are a teacher, the type noted will be different.
