Mighty Knights!

My name is Valerie Doud and I am the Library Media Specialist here at Spring Leadership Academy. My mission is to foster a joy of reading in each student and create lifelong learners.

I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Sam Houston State University and my Masters of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. I have served in the field of education since 2004. This will be my eighth year as a Librarian and my fourth year here at SLA.

In my spare time I like to read books, listen to music and spend time with family.
