If you have a Bachelor's Degree in any subject and have completed a required Foundations of Special Education course that includes legal aspects and characteristics, you would be eligible to apply for a provisional license (if hired). This would allow you to teach grades K-12. A provisional license allows you to teach for up to three years while completing any remaining requirements for a full teaching license.  Once hired, the licensure coordinator will assist you in submitting documentation to VDOE for this license.
