Canvas Communication Tools
In addition to the global Conversations tool, Canvas courses contain several tools aimed at communication and collaboration between students and teachers.
Teachers may choose to disable some communication tools based on their learning plans for students.
Your teachers may also schedule Google Meet live meetings in your Canvas course. To join the Meet, you must be logged into your Spotsylvania Google account. When you join, you should follow your teacher's rules for Meets, which likely include muting your microphone on entering the meeting and using tools to raise your hand before speaking.
If you are on a mobile device, you should download the Google Meet app to participate. On a computer or Chromebook, the Meet will open in a new tab in your browser.
