'Stereotyping' Workshop Monday 27th May

11.25am- 1.25pm (Period 3/4) Lois Finderup from LMF Grooming and Presentation Consultancy is hosting a workshop on ‘Stereotyping- how our perceptions and ideas around what people wear influences what we think and how we relate to others.’ This workshop is particularly helpful to students heading out into the workforce. Agriculture Cadet Training Programme - June 8th and 9th

Students who are interested in pursuing a cadet training programme in Sheep and Beef Farming the Waipaoa Station Farm Cadet Training Trust in Gisborne will be holding their open days on June the 8th & 9th and accepting applications until the end of July. A careers talk could be arranged and interested students or staff should see the Agriculture Tutor Dean Redshaw or Whaea Wendy in the Careers office.

Reboot Bootcamp Yr 12-13

Massey University will be holding Regional Business Bootcamps for Yr 12-13 "Reboot camp" which are 2 hour interactive workshops using the 5 C's concept, talking with business mentors and staff from Massey University. If you are studying a commerce subject and are interested please talk to your teacher or visit the careers office. Numbers are very limited so please be quick if you are interested.

The young enterprise class has decided that there will be a market day on Tuesday 9th of April during lunch at the quad. You can buy some awesome product (bath bombs,scrubs,Rock+baking,marshmallows,Photo frames+candle holders,Vases and Jars. If it rains it will be held in the hall.

Out of School Date for the Year 12/13 Ball

If you are considering bringing a date to the Ball who does not attend Spotswood College, you will need to write a letter to the Ball Committee explaining who they are, their occupation, why they should attend and declaring that they will abide by the balls’ rules and regulations. Your date is requited to be Year 12 or older. This letter must be handed into the School Office by 1st April at the latest.
