Dear whānau,

As you will know the Prime Minister announced that we will be moving to Alert Level 2 as of Tuesday 7th September 2021 at 11:59pm. We will be open for instruction this Thursday 9th September. It is a huge relief to know we can all be back on site and working together again from Thursday, and we would like to thank you all for your continued support!

Staff will use Wednesday 8th September to set up and to prepare for Thursday.

Online learning will still be available but there will be no Google Meets.

Ākonga/students must be kept at home if they have any symptoms of being unwell. Any ākonga/student who becomes unwell during the school day will be required to be taken home as soon as possible.

A wide range of hygiene resources and procedures have been put in place. We are strongly encouraging the use of face masks. Physical distancing is essential at all times.

Please check with your medical practitioner if you are concerned. If you decide to keep your tamariki/rangatahi at home, please contact us on 067512416 if your tamariki/rangatahi will be absent.

We look forward to seeing everyone again in person in level 2. If you have any questions then please contact the school via email admin@spotswoodcollege.school.nz or by phone 06 7512416.
