Hi!  My name is Krista Spence and I teach fifth grade at SPN.   

In 2002, I graduated from Cabrini University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6). In 2010, I finished my coursework at Cabrini University and received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for twenty-two years.  

I want to make our classroom an enjoyable learning environment that my students can treasure. I plan to make lessons fun, memorable, and meaningful. I believe that every child has his/her own unique way of learning. I strive to incorporate different learning styles in each of my lessons. I believe children should be exposed to cooperative learning, hands-on activities, structured lessons, and learning through experiences. I want my class to look forward to coming to school each day. I am very excited to start this new school year at St. Philip Neri School.
