Hi!  My name is Krista Spence and I teach Fifth grade at St. Philip Neri School.

I graduated from Cabrini University in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for twenty-five years.

My goal is to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and excited to learn. I aim to make lessons fun, memorable, and meaningful by incorporating a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles of my students. I believe in the importance of cooperative learning, hands-on activities, and learning through real-life experiences.

Most of all, I want my students to look forward to coming to school each day. I’m very excited to begin a new school year at St. Philip Neri and can’t wait to see all that we will accomplish together!
