BRODY'S BIO:
It’s plain and simple: Brody Young should not be alive. Ambushed and left for dead in the desert after being shot nine times at Poison Spider Trailhead outside of Canyonlands National Park, near Moab UT. He returned fire and radioed for help before he quickly started bleeding out and was rendered unconscious.
What followed is a miraculous recovery doctors are still trying to understand.
Somehow, Brody found a way to survive, live, and now thrive — even with four slugs and a lot of shrapnel still in his body. Since healing from his wounds, Brody has returned to serving as a park ranger with the rank of lieutenant.
Now affiliated with the Washington Speakers Bureau and Gotham Artists, Brody also gives motivational talks about his inspiring, incredible story of survival.
