Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 Inauguration Ceremony Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada

The Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 programme was successfully inaugurated at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) on 17 September 2026. The programme marked the commencement of a series of cleanliness, waste management, awareness and community participation activities to be conducted at the Institute from 17 September to 02 October 2026.

The inauguration programme was followed by an awareness film screening on the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules, 2026 and four-way source segregation, highlighting the importance of responsible waste management and sustainable cleanliness practices. The initiative aims to encourage active participation among the SPA Vijayawada community towards creating cleaner surroundings, improved sanitation, responsible waste management and a greener and more sustainable environment.
