Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Closing Day Programme Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada on 01 October 2026

The Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) successfully concluded on 01 October 2026, marking the culmination of a series of cleanliness, awareness, waste management and community participation activities conducted at the Institute from 17 September to 02 October 2026.

The closing day programme marked the culmination of the Institute’s collective efforts towards promoting cleanliness, responsible waste management, source segregation, environmental awareness and sustainable practices among the campus community. Throughout the campaign, faculty members, non-faculty staff, students and other members of the Institute actively participated in various activities aimed at strengthening the culture of cleanliness and civic responsibility.

The SHS 2026 campaign at SPA Vijayawada included a range of initiatives such as campus cleanliness drives, office and IT workspace cleanliness activities, wet and dry waste segregation, awareness programmes, expert lectures, Safai Mitra felicitation, community participation activities and initiatives promoting responsible waste management.

The campaign also provided an opportunity to create greater awareness about the importance of source-level waste segregation, responsible handling of waste, sustainable resource management and maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.

The successful completion of the SHS 2026 campaign reaffirmed the commitment of SPA Vijayawada towards creating a cleaner, greener, healthier and more sustainable campus. The collective participation and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the campaign reflected the spirit of “Swachhata Hi Seva” and reinforced the message that cleanliness is a shared responsibility.

The closing day programme concluded the campaign with a renewed commitment from the SPA Vijayawada community to continue adopting responsible cleanliness and sustainability practices beyond the campaign period.
