Successful Organization of the Stakeholders Workshop on IMD’s Weather and Climate Services for Andhra Pradesh

The event, commemorating 150 years of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), was successfully held at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, on 20th December 2024.

This workshop brought together key stakeholders to discuss Weather and Climate Services for Andhra Pradesh and was graced by:

• Chief Guest: Shri. R.P. Sisodia, I.A.S., Special Chief Secretary to Government, Andhra Pradesh.

• Guest of Honour: Prof. Dr. Ramesh Srikonda, Director, SPA Vijayawada.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Meteorological Centre, Amaravati, with the coordination of Smt. S. Stella, Scientist F.
