Safai Mitra Felicitation Ceremony Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada as Part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, a Safai Mitra Felicitation Ceremony was successfully held at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) on 30 September 2026 at the Open Screen Area, First Floor, Administrative Building.

The programme was organised to recognise and appreciate the dedicated contribution of the cleaning and sanitation staff, particularly the Safai Mitras and sweepers, who play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and overall upkeep of the Institute campus.

As a gesture of appreciation for their valuable service and continuous efforts, the cleaning staff were felicitated with flower bouquets and sweets. The programme provided an opportunity for the SPA Vijayawada community to acknowledge their commitment and express gratitude for the important work they undertake every day.

The felicitation formed an integral part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 activities and highlighted the importance of recognising the people who contribute directly to maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.

The successful conduct of the programme reaffirmed SPA Vijayawada’s commitment to cleanliness, dignity of sanitation work, community participation and appreciation of the Safai Mitras whose dedicated efforts contribute to a cleaner and healthier campus.
