Plantation Ceremony Celebrating World Environment Day 2026 Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada on 5th June 2026

The School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada (SPAV) successfully organized a Plantation Ceremony on 5th June 2026 as part of the World Environment Day 2026 celebrations under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” The initiative highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, sustainability, and creating a greener future through collective responsibility.

The event was hosted by SPA Vijayawada in association with the Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh under the guidance of Chief Patron Dr. Ramesh Rikonda. Faculty, staff, and members of the Rose Society of Andhra Pradesh actively participated in the plantation drive, reflecting their commitment towards protecting nature, improving green spaces, and promoting ecological awareness.

The ceremony served as a meaningful step towards encouraging sustainable practices and strengthening the bond between the community and the environment for a healthier future.
