Office Desk & IT Workspace Cleanliness Drive Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada on 23 September 2026 as Part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, an Office Desk and IT Workspace Cleanliness Drive was successfully held at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) on 23 September 2026.

The initiative focused on promoting cleanliness and better organisation of office desks, computer workspaces and surrounding work areas across the campus. Faculty members and staff actively participated in the activity and cooperated with the Housekeeping team to clean and organise their respective workspaces.

As part of the activity, departments were also encouraged to identify obsolete or redundant IT equipment, scrap IT materials and consumables lying in their work areas and hand them over to the IT team for appropriate processing and disposal through the prescribed procedures. This initiative supports effective space management and responsible handling of electronic waste (e-waste).

The activity reinforced the importance of maintaining clean and organised workplaces while encouraging responsible waste management and sustainable practices within the Institute.

The successful conduct of the drive at SPA Vijayawada reflects the collective commitment of the campus community towards cleanliness, responsible resource management, sustainable practices and a healthier working environment.
