NCC Naval Wing Raising Ceremony Successfully Held at School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada on 20 August 2026

The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV) successfully hosted the NCC Naval Wing Raising Ceremony on 20 August 2026 at Krishnaveni Sabhagaar, SPAV Campus. The ceremony was organised under the aegis of 8 (Andhra) Naval NCC, marking a significant milestone in the history of the Institute and providing a new platform for students to develop discipline, leadership, teamwork, courage and a strong sense of national responsibility.

The ceremony commenced at 10:00 AM and was attended by the Deans, Faculty, Staff and Students of SPAV, who came together to witness this memorable occasion. The raising of the Naval Wing represents a new beginning for students at SPAV, offering them an opportunity to engage in NCC activities and develop qualities of leadership, service, commitment and responsible citizenship.

The establishment of the NCC Naval Wing at SPAV is an important step towards encouraging students to embrace the core values of discipline, courage and commitment while contributing positively to society and the nation. Through NCC training and activities, students will have opportunities to strengthen their leadership abilities, teamwork, self-confidence and sense of duty.

The occasion was held under the Chief Patronage of Dr. Ramesh Srikonda, Director, SPAV. The event reflected SPAV's continued commitment to the holistic development of its students by providing opportunities that extend beyond academics and nurture responsible, disciplined and socially conscious citizens.
