On 13th August 2025, the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, successfully organized two significant national awareness and patriotic initiatives in succession at the 1st Floor Open Air Theatre (OAT).

The first event was held at 11:45 AM as part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" (Drug-Free India Campaign). Faculty members gathered promptly by 11:40 AM to participate in the formal pledge-taking ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and contributing to building a healthier, drug-free society.

Immediately following this, at 12:00 Noon, the institution organized the "Har Ghar Tiranga" pledge as part of the ongoing nationwide campaign to encourage citizens to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes. As a symbolic gesture, national flags were distributed to faculty and staff members to be displayed and hoisted at their respective residences on 15th August 2025, in celebration of India’s Independence Day.

Both events were conducted with enthusiastic participation from faculty and staff, reflecting SPA Vijayawada’s commitment to national causes, social responsibility, and the spirit of patriotism.
