Hindi Fortnight – 2026 Successfully Held at SPA Vijayawada

The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) successfully conducted the Hindi Fortnight – 2026 on 19 August 2026, as part of its efforts to promote the use, appreciation, and wider participation in Hindi among the Institute community.

The programme brought together faculty members, non-faculty staff, students, contractual employees, and outsourced personnel, providing an opportunity to participate in various Hindi-related activities and competitions. The celebrations focused on encouraging the use of Hindi in official communication and creating greater awareness and enthusiasm for the language.

As part of the Hindi Fortnight activities, a series of competitions and programmes were organized, including Hindi Essay Writing, Hindi Handwriting/Calligraphy, Hindi Extempore, and Hindi Grammar (Case Endings) competitions, along with a Hindi Workshop. The activities provided participants with a platform to demonstrate their creativity, language skills, and knowledge of Hindi.

The Hindi Workshop was an important part of the programme and provided participants with an opportunity to enhance their understanding and practical use of Hindi. The celebrations also encouraged participation from members belonging to different linguistic backgrounds, reflecting India's rich linguistic and cultural diversity.

The event highlighted SPA Vijayawada's commitment to promoting Hindi and fostering linguistic inclusiveness within the Institute. The successful conduct of the programme encouraged active participation and contributed to creating a positive and engaging environment for the learning and use of Hindi.
