हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2025 – School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada

The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, is organizing हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2025 from 01 to 15 September 2025. This fortnight-long celebration is aimed at promoting the use of Hindi as the official language in academic, administrative, and cultural spheres, while also encouraging students, faculty, and staff to appreciate its significance as a language of national integration.

Under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Srikonda, Director, and coordinated by Dr. Naina Guma, Dr. Jashesh Kumar Mahesh Kumar Bhagwat, and Mr. K. Harish Kumar (Hindi Advisor), the program will feature a wide variety of activities including debates, essay writing, poetry recitations, quizzes, workshops, and cultural performances. These events are designed to nurture creativity and spread awareness about the importance of Hindi in day-to-day professional and academic life.

Day 1 Highlights – 01 September 2025

The celebration of Day 1 of हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2025 began with a formal inaugural ceremony at SPA Vijayawada. The program was inaugurated by the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Srikonda, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of Hindi as a unifying language in India’s diverse cultural landscape.

Following the inauguration, the first activity of the fortnight – a Hindi Essay Writing Competition – was conducted, where students enthusiastically participated and expressed their ideas on themes related to language, culture, and nation-building. Faculty members and staff also actively took part, reflecting the collective spirit of the institution in fostering the use of Hindi.

The inaugural day concluded on a note of enthusiasm and set the momentum for the upcoming days of literary and cultural activities scheduled throughout the fortnight.
