The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPA Vijayawada) successfully organized an Awareness Programme on Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene on 29 October 2026 at the Conference Hall, Academic Block, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, observed from 26 October to 1 November 2026 under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”

The programme featured Shri S.M.M.M. Kalyan Kumar, Joint Director (IT), National Informatics Centre (NIC), Andhra Pradesh Division, as the distinguished resource person.

The awareness programme aimed to promote cybersecurity awareness, responsible digital practices, cyber hygiene, and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information in an increasingly digital environment. It emphasized the significance of cybersecurity in maintaining institutional integrity, transparency, accountability, and secure digital communication.

The programme was coordinated by Shri M. Govindan, System Administrator, and Shri A. Abhishek, Technical Officer, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ramesh Srikonda, Director, SPA Vijayawada.

The initiative reflected SPA Vijayawada's continued commitment to promoting digital awareness, cybersecurity best practices, and a culture of vigilance and integrity within the institution.
