Cosmic Vision: Stargazing & Astrophotography Workshop Successfully Organized at SPA Vijayawada

Club Supernova, the official astronomy and astrophotography club of SPA Vijayawada, successfully hosted the "Cosmic Vision: Stargazing & Astrophotography Workshop" on April 5th, 2025 (Saturday). The workshop was a full-day immersive experience designed to ignite curiosity about the cosmos and equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in astronomy and astrophotography.

The event featured expert sessions led by Mr. Snehith Madhukar and Mr. Pramodh Srinivasa, who brought their extensive experience and passion for the night sky to the participants. The workshop was thoughtfully structured to cater to both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts, offering insightful lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on telescope handling. Attendees learned to observe distant galaxies, planets, and star clusters using an advanced 8-inch parabolic mirror telescope, and also discovered techniques to capture celestial phenomena using DSLRs, smartphones, and telescopes.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff. Held across two key venues—the Exhibition Hall for the theory sessions and the Terrace Floor for night observations—the workshop provided a complete stargazing experience under expert guidance.

With a blend of education, excitement, and exploration, Cosmic Vision turned into a memorable celebration of space science and community learning at SPA Vijayawada.
