The Constitution Day Programme was successfully held at School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV) on 26th November 2025 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. As part of the nationwide observance, faculty, staff, and students of SPAV actively participated in the event, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
The programme began with the collective reading of the Preamble at 11:00 AM, echoing the spirit of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that form the foundation of the nation. Participants also explored the Preamble in various Indian languages through the resources provided by constitution75.com and MyGov.in, enriching their understanding of the constitutional vision.
In addition to the Preamble reading, the celebration included awareness activities, discussions, and educational sessions highlighting the significance of constitutional democracy, fundamental duties, and the role of citizens in nation-building. Participants were encouraged to take part in the online Constitutional Democracy Quiz hosted on MyGov.in.
Photographs and videos documenting the activities were captured for record and will be uploaded on official platforms as part of the celebration.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of SPAV’s dedication to promoting constitutional awareness and fostering a sense of civic responsibility among its academic community.
