Davin Steenstra

Davin Steenstra is a 16-year-old junior who plays football and baseball at Sparta High School. Outside of school, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and video games.

Davin took Web Multimedia because he'd heard it was a fun class where you learn a lot. He's especially drawn to video work, since it lets him capture cool shots he can be proud of. This year, he hopes to sharpen his videography skills and improve his storytelling.

As a journalist, Davin wants to cover sports, especially football, since he's on the team himself. He believes it's important to tell the truth about the people he covers and never defame them, and thinks a good story comes from focusing on the best parts of what happened.

Fun fact: most people don't know that Davin is Dutch.
