Since graduation, Lindsey clocked the Boilermakers second fastest 800 run time of the 2008 outdoor season, with a time of 2:12.11 to finish 6th at the Billy Hayes Invitational. She narrowly missed scoring at the 2008 Big Ten Indoor Championships, even though she ran the team's fastest 4x400 relay squads. She competed at Penn Relays in April 2009, finished 5th place in college division of distance medley relay.
She has received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and she works for a local school district. She is married to Jacob, and together, they have three boys: Lucas, Evan, and Thomas.
Words of Encouragement:
"I learned so many valuable lessons in my track and field career; being an athlete is difficult and rewarding. I will always remember that my coach taught me to believe in myself, to never settle, and to always keep a positive attitude. Current athletes should be encouraged to do the same! If I can leave them with two words, they would be, 'Believe, Achieve!'"
