Kyle graduated Olivet College in 2009 with a degree in secondary education. He taught in Lawrenceville, New Jersey at a boarding prep school, The Lawrenceville School. Kyle has been married to his wife, Jenna, since 2010, and together, they have four children:  Zachariah, Gabriel, Luca, and Adalyn. After teaching and coaching from 2009-2012, Kyle and his family moved back to Sparta to help manage his family dairy farm, Sparta Farms.

When time allows, Kyle still volunteers in the wrestling rooms of area schools and one-on-one with individuals, mentoring and teaching techniques. He plays a LOT of sports with his kids.
