Individual Graduation Plans (IGP)

Attention 8th Grade Students & Parents!!!

We are in the process of scheduling individual meetings with all 8th graders to complete their Individual Graduation Plan (IGP). This meeting is required by the state of South Carolina and the purpose of the IGP is to assist students with the transition from middle school to high school in order to prepare for a career. Your child will have an IGP meeting every year starting with 8th grade and each year’s meeting will contain important information to help your student make informed decisions during their high school career. This short meeting is aimed to give parents and students some vital information to assist you in helping your students on their pathway to success; and is the opportunity to get important questions answered about various topics related to your students future goals, no matter what they may be.

IGP meetings will be held during the month of October through March (on select days). In order to sign up, please carefully choose a date and time, and place that appointment in you phone, organizer, and/or calendar (as spots fill up quickly). If you miss your appointment time, it will likely be very difficult to get another time that works for you in the IGP schedule. REMEMBER TO CHOOSE YOUR APPOINTMENT CAREFULLY!

If you have not chosen your appointment date/time by Friday, November 30th, 2018, an appointment date/time will be made for your student and sent home before Winter Break. Each IGP meeting will last no more than 30 minutes. We appreciate your support in honoring the appointment schedule.
