Welcome to Math in the Hood with Mr. Hood! I am excited about teaching you mathematics. This site contains helpful links for each of my classes. My lesson plans for each class are posted here, and the class syllabus is available for viewing via the link above. The syllabus contains important information concerning my classroom procedures, supplies, and my grading policies.
About Me
I have been teaching math for over 20 years, and I have taught here at Landrum High since 2009. I am originally from Georgia , and I received a Bachelors of Mathematics Education degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. and a Masters of Mathematics Education degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. I love spending time with my wonderful wife. Also, I enjoy playing and singing music, fly fishing, and watching college football. I am also the worship leader at Motlow Creek Baptist Church in Campobello, SC.
