About the instructor:

For those of you who do not know me, this is my 18th year teaching. My first three years were at Pendleton High School, teaching Ag. Science, Horticulture, and Sports Turf Management. I have also taught 7^th and 8^th grade Introduction to Ag. Science at Carvers Bay Middle School for three years. I spent nine years of teaching at Carvers Bay High School where I taught Ag. Science, Horticulture, and Sports Turf Management. I spent one year teaching at Kingstree High School and now this will be my fifth year at Landrum High School.

I am new to this area and look forward to becoming a part of the community. My interests include cars, traveling, cooking, fishing and spending time with my friends and family. I was born and raised in the Pleasant Hill community of Georgetown County and now reside in Landrum.

Educationally, I have a M.S. degree in Ag. Ed. from Clemson University with an emphasis on Sports Turf Management and a B.S. degree in Ag. Ed. from Clemson University with an emphasis on Animal and Veterinary Science. I have also completed additional coursework in Educational Leadership at Capella University and am a PhD pending dissertation. I am a member of the National and State organization of Sports Turf Managers as well at the National and State organizations of Agricultural Educators.

Schedule: I will be at Landrum High School daily and will have office hours on Tuesdays from 3:15 -3:45.
