With over 25 years of experience in teaching and research and 8 years in the industry, Dr. Sheuli Mitra has a distinguished career in urban planning and development. Her research has been pivotal in addressing key national challenges, including projects like Shelter for All (MHRD, GoI), climate-resilient planning for five smart cities in Madhya Pradesh (EPCO, GoMP), and the development of housing design alternatives for specific geo-climatic regions (MHUPA, GoI).
Her expertise spans Urban Renewal, Transportation and Real Estate, and Land Economics, which she integrates into her teaching at the Master's level in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP). Dr. Mitra specializes in Thesis Guidance, City Planning, Land Economics and Real Estate Planning, and Introduction to Area Planning.
