Rational Numbers

In this unit, students will learn to solve real-world and mathematical problems involving the four operations with rational numbers. Students will learn to apply the properties of addition and multiplication (i.e. commutative, associative, identity, inverse, and zero), and to demonstrate whether the decimal form of a fraction terminates or repeats by using long division.
