Mrs. Buonanni

Hi Everyone,

My Name is Mrs. Buonanni and I have been a teacher here at Plantsville Elementary School for the past 18 years. I did all of my student teaching and course work in the primary grades and began my career here as an add-on first grade teacher. The following year I accepted a permanent position in fifth grade. For the past 4 years, I have had the exciting opportunity to teach kindergarten.

A little background on myself. I did all of my undergraduate work at Central Connecticut State University with a major in math and science. I also completed the Master's Program there with a focus on math and reading.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband and family. I have a son named Nicholas who is entering High School this year and another son named Thomas who is going into seventh grade at JFK. I also have a 2 year-old named Drew. We love going to the beach to look for sea glass and fish. One of our favorite things to do it to cheer on the Boston Red Sox.
