To obtain approval for an educational trip, the following criteria must be met:
1.) Five days prior to the trip, parents/guardians must provide, in writing, a rationale of the trip. Please include what educational experiences the child will be exposed to and specific dates of the trip with a signature of the parent/guardian.
2.) The student is responsible to meet with his/her teachers before and after the trip to make sure all classwork is made up. All assignments must be made up within a reasonable amount of time after returning to school.
Please note: The Educational Field Trip form must be completed by the parent/guardian and submitted to the building principal for approval at least five days prior to the trip.
