Drop Off & Pick Up

Where can students be dropped off in the morning? 

Our first priority is safety. 

If parents drive their children to school in the morning, they must enter with their vehicles from Route 414 between the bus loop and the greenhouse area and follow the arrows to let children out at the sidewalk/crosswalk on the East side of the building. If students are being dropped off by parents, they are to enter the building use Entrance D. 

The bus loop is reserved for buses from  7:30 - 8:30AM. Parents may not enter the bus loop during this time even if there are no buses in the loop. 

If parents will be walking their children into the building, they may park in the area that parallels Route 414 in the front of the building. There is a sidewalk and a crosswalk that will help parents and their children access the main entrance and lobby of the building from the front parking area. 

How are students dismissed? 

Students who walk toward the Liberty downtown area are dismissed at the end of the day at 2:40 PM. These  students are escorted out of the building by staff members who take them across the Route 414 crosswalk.  

Students who ride buses are dismissed next at 2:45. 

Students who are being picked up by their  parents are dismissed when the final bus leaves the front bus loop (approximately 2:50). If you will be picking up your child, you are to stay in your car and enter the bus loop AFTER bus 44 has completed their pick-up.  We ask that you create your line extending towards Route 15. Faculty and staff will dismiss students and have parents sign them out from their cars. 

The bus loop is not to be used by vehicles from 2:15PM until Parent Pick-Up after buses have departed. All vehicles for an early dismissal should park in the lot parallel to 414 by the flagpole.
