Learning Support
These services are designed for students with disabilities who require specially designed instruction. Again, an evaluation completed by a certified school psychologist is required, and then a conference is held with the parents and school personnel to discuss the results. If found to be eligible for these services, the student would then work with our learning support staff so that individual goals and needs can be met.
Additional Supports
We also contract with our intermediate unit (IU17) to provide vision support and hearing support and other supports as necessary. Occupational therapy and physical therapy are provided through a contract with Susquehanna Health Services. Physical support is typically provided within the student’s appropriate academic program unless determined otherwise.
