About EVCO 2023
EVCO 2023 is a programming competition open to all undergraduate students from member institution of PSITE Eastern Visayas. The purpose of this programming contest is to provide a competitive and intellectually stimulating platform where students can showcase their problem-solving skills, algorithmic proficiency, and programming skills by solving complex computational challenges within a limited timeframe. This contest aims to foster innovation, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence in the field of information technology education, helping participants enhance their coding abilities and prepare for real-world software development challenges.

Contest Strand and Prizes
Stand 1 - C Programming
This strand is intended for all participating students who are confident in their competitive programming ability in C Programming Language.
1st Place - ₱5,000 cash + Medal + Certificate
2nd Place - ₱2,500 cash + Medal + Certificate
3rd Place - ₱1,500 cash + Medal + Certificate
Strand 2 - Java Programming
This strand is intended for all participating students who are confident in their competitive programming ability in Java Programming Language.
1st Place - ₱5,000 cash + Medal + Certificate
2nd Place - ₱2,500 cash + Medal + Certificate
3rd Place - ₱1,500 cash + Medal + Certificate
Special Award: Best Programing Team for each province will receive a medal and certificate
Registration Fee
Each participating team must pay a registration fee of ₱300.00 via GCash (09175489956) to PSITE-EV Treasurer, Professor Winston M. Tabada
The proof of payment must be sent via email thru evco2023@southernleytestateu.edu.ph
