Lylatul Qadrina has a strong track record of creating meaningful community engagement and advancing the arts sector in Malaysia. At Kakiseni, she plays a pivotal role in enhancing arts accessibility and fostering strategic collaborations with various stakeholders across Malaysia’s cultural ecosystem.
Her work spans across event curation, festival management, and creative program development with involvement in organising The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards, Hari UNESCO Malaysia 2018, Hikayat Series & Workshop and Maybank Foundation Cultural Art Showcase and Bazaar 2024.
Lylatul is also the visionary behind the Kelab YSD-Kakiseni Junior, an arts education initiative that introduces arts and culture to students in public schools through providing a year-long resident artist from the performing and visual art industry. This initiative is currently implemented nationwide.
She is also a member of the ReformARTsi coalition, contributing to the efforts of a better policy for the arts in the country.
