Set up: Measure 10 meters (or 33 feet). If you are unable to use a measuring tape, you can measure by taking 15 normal steps. Mark the distance.
What to record and submit: Record the time it takes to walk, run, or roll to the 10 meter mark.
Setup: Measure 25 meters (or 82 feet). If you are unable to use a measuring tape, you can measure by taking 30 large steps. Mark the distance.
What to record and submit: Record the time it takes to walk, run, or roll to the 25 meter mark.
Set up: You can do the 50 meter dash in your yard, on a sidewalk, or any open space. Measure 50 meters (or 164 feet) from start to finish. If you are unable to use a measuring tape, you can measure by taking 60 large steps. Mark the distance.
What to record and submit: Record the time it takes you to run, walk or roll 50 meters.
Set up: You can do the 100 meter dash in your yard, on a sidewalk, or any open space. Measure 100 meters (or 328 feet) from start to finish. If you are unable to use a measuring tape, you can measure by taking 120 large steps. Mark the distance.
What to record and submit: Record the time it takes you to run, walk or roll 100 meters.
Set up: You can measure a mile by using google maps
On your computer, open Google Maps. If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you’ll see a lightning bolt at the bottom and you won't be able to measure the distance between points.
Right-click on your starting point.
Choose Measure distance.
Click anywhere on the map to create a path to measure. To add another point, click anywhere on the map.
Optional: Drag a point or path to move it, or click a point to remove it.
At the bottom, you’ll see the total distance in miles (mi) and kilometers (km).
When done: On the card at the bottom, click Close .
Mark the distance.
What to record and submit: Record the time it takes you to run the 1 mile from start to finish.
Note: When its time to submit your scores, track events and field events will be submitted on one form and relays will be submitted on a separate form.
