Welcome to our sixth grade team page!
Here you will find important information to assist your child in being successful this year.

Homework:

Students will be given an agenda book during the first week of school and are expected to record daily homework assignments that are posted in each class.
Students should refer to their agenda book to complete assignments each night.
As a bridge between home and school, teachers will also update the 6th Grade Homework Calendar with assignments, due dates, tests and quizzes. We recommend bookmarking this Google Sheet and chatting with your student about their assignments. Please toggle through the tabs at the bottom left of the sheet to switch from week to week.

Other Notes:
Please be sure to fully charge your Chromebook each night at home.

Parents and students are encouraged to check PowerSchool frequently. Trouble logging in? Please let us know!

Homework Club is held in the MBA Library immediately after school on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30–3:30 PM. Students should arrive prepared with a plan for the homework they need to complete or material they would like to study. Students are responsible for arranging transportation and should be picked up promptly at 3:30PM when Homework Club ends.

The 6th grade teacher team time is from 10:18 - 10:48 twice a week. Should you wish to schedule an appointment to meet with the team of teachers, please contact Megan Truncellito at megan.truncellito@somers.k12.ct.us for availability.
